Anthony Bennett has trimmed his list to UNLV and Oregon.

Bennett has eliminated Kentucky from consideration, according to his AAU coaches.

“He really likes Kentucky,” CIA Bounce coaches Tony McIntyre and Mike Georgetold said. “He loves what they’re doing there. But Anthony feels it would be a better fit at UNLV or Oregon.

“He likes Oregon and UNLV better. He has a chance to be an immediate impact” at those schools.

Mark Lyons, a fifth-year transfer from Xavier, committed to Arizona Sunday.

Lyons visited Arizona this weekend after taking a look at Kentucky last week, and he had also considered visiting Kansas.

“Honestly I knew I wanted to be at Arizona, but I had to make sure I gave it a fair shot,” Lyons said. “That was the great thing about me coming out here. It was great.”

The 6-foot-1 combo guard was a third-team all-Atlantic 10 selection last season.

The 6-foot-8 forward plans to make his decision in the next two weeks.

Bennett is a top-10 prospect in the class of 2012.

Tyler Ennis is no longer considering attending Arizona.

“Arizona’s not the situation anymore,” Ennis said.

Ennis, a top-50 prospect, has studied the Wildcats and doesn’t believe he fits into the team’s system.

“I don’t want to have it too jammed up at the guard spot,” said Ennis, who is still considering Syracuse, Louisville, Memphis, Georgia Tech and Baylor. “I want to compete and come in and contribute at the guard spot.”

Mark Lyons plans to take an official recruiting visit to Arizona this weekend.

“Just get a feel for the place, see how it looks and the environment,” Lyons said of his objectives for this weekend's visit. Playing point guard “is a big factor because I want to play more point than I did in my past.”

Lyons recently opted to transfer from Xavier.
